Launching a startup or a new venture is one of the most daunting, and exciting, a person or company can undertake.

For a person, the startup represents their hopes and dreams, and likely to consume them, their family and their resources – for the next five to ten years.

For a company, launching a new venture is a bold bet on the future, an opportunity to create new revenues, greater profits, or an opportunity to be the first to replace its maturing products  – a move that can remake the company, or un-focus it into failure.

For both, all know-able issues and opportunities should be identified, and reward and risk must be realistically characterized, so that an approach that mitigates the latter, while maximizing the former, can be created.  This is the focus of our Startups & New Ventures practice.
